Counselling, Social Work and Referral
We provide face-to-face counselling services for any individual or family seeking help.
Through the counselling process, we seek to discover, assess, and understand the issues, problems and concerns a client or family is experiencing. We aim to assist clients to be more adept at handling the various issues and guide them to take action in improving their lives.

Information and referral services are provided in the areas of financial assistance, legal and welfare issues.
Where more specialized help is required, referral in made to the appropriate agencies or ministries. Preventive and developmental programmes are also conducted for the community.
How Yong-en Assists Those Who Are Affected By Financial Crisis
- collection of food rations on 14th to 16th each month;
- assistance with NTUC vouchers;
- Case work, counselling and referral services;
- to refer clients to support group if necessary;
HOW YOU CAN HELP
We welcome well-wishers, corporate and individual supporters to partner us for on-going support of:
$400 of financial assistance (e.g. NTUC vouchers) per month;
$150 worth of groceries per month;
$260 to sponsor professional counselling fee for needy clients per month.
