Respite Care for Caregivers
Our centre-based therapeutic programme for PLWD adopts a person-centred care approach. To support holistic care and promote dignity in ageing, personalised activities are curated to slow cognitive and physical decline whilst providing respite and support for caregivers.

Rolled out by Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), ENLIVEN offers a structured, multimodal activities to help participants maintain or improve their cognitive, physical, and social abilities. Activities are tailored to each participant’s abilities and interests, and include memory games, dance, arts and crafts.
The programme starts with 7-week core phase (3-hour sessions, twice weekly), followed by up to 26 weeks of maintenance to sustain progress. Caregivers are encouraged to observe to support engagement at home.

Everyone who applies to Yong-en Dementia Day Care is subject to an assessment of eligibility and suitability for the services we offer. This is based on the admission criteria below:
